I finished The Golden Mean for one of my book clubs. Now, one might think I’d be interested in reading a novel that makes ancient Macedon come alive.
I wasn’t. Here’s a book that was shortlisted for the Giller and about my people and I had to force myself through it. But I’m done.
Well, almost…. I’m on page 16 of Wolf Hall for my other book club.
