Long-time readers may recall that many of the units in the new condo are very small.
So small your bed is in the kitchen.
Not only does this mean there are young people in the lobby with skateboards (newbies on the property ladder and their fashion forward friends is my guess) but it also means that you can see entire units from the windows across the street.
Blinds are paramount unless one is an exhibitionist.
And apparently some of my neighbours are. There is a hand-made sign in one of the windows in the building across the way.
It says: Get curtains we can see you.
Alas, privacy is not the price of a new skateboard away. Curtains (which can be had cheap) are against the condo rules. Only (not so cheap) roller blinds are permitted.
Who needs television when you have “live” entertainment…
