Way back in the day I had a pair of very worn-in jean shorts. They looked much like this.
Note: my legs did not – even at 24 or so – look like that. Nor did I wear black nylons under them or a top resembling anything like that…I did, sometimes, wear bicycle shorts under them — once they got to the point that it was either that or stop wearing them due to — ahem — privacy concerns.
Now I am seeing everyone wearing them again. And I am so tempted to chop up a pair of old jeans to get with the fashion of the day. It’s either that or buying a pair of khaki shorts for the dreadful temperatures ahead…
