I got some new earphones for my iPod. The ones that came with it didn’t fit into my ears. They popped out when I was walking around. Also, since they did not fit, sound leaked out forcing others to hear popular 80s tunes against their will. (No worries about the loudness hurting my ears — I’m hearing impaired so I really need to have the volume quite loud.)

They fit in my ears very snugly and the sound is great. There’s just one trouble — they block out all external sounds. I can’t hear a thing when they are in.

Nothing.

This could pose some danger living in the big city.
