Queen. Is that too much to ask?
They have sold an estimated 180 million records around the world and, in their home country of Britain, remain second only to The Beatles in terms of sales and collectability (though in 2005, they actually exceeded the number of weeks spent on the British chart by The Beatles).
All my Queen albums are on cassette (I know!). And since I have this gadget now, it only makes sense to have all my songs on it.
So off I go to to iTunes.
They have:
- Queen Ida & Bon Temps Zydeco Band
- Queen Ekanem
- Queen Boyz
- Queen Yemisi
- Queen Esther
- Queen Makedah
- Queen Latifah
- Turkish Queen
- and Queens of the Stone Age
But no Queen! You know, the band?
God, I’m still young. Where the hell is Queen?
At least I found The Motels.
It’s like I told you
Only the lonely can play
So hold on here we go
Hold on to nothin’ we know
I feel so lonely way up here
I am so lonely on iTunes. Where are my people (peeps?) going to get music?
So is this new iPod the reason you are no longer on email?
Goodness no. Things are just busy…I’ll be back. Promise.
Hey Christine:
The iTunes music store added the entire Queen catalogue today. 🙂
Wow. Thanks Kelly! I am going right now!
