I got some new earphones for my iPod. The ones that came with it didn’t fit into my ears. They popped out when I was walking around. Also, since they did not fit, sound leaked out forcing others to hear popular 80s tunes against their will. (No worries about the loudness hurting my ears â€” I’m hearing impaired so I really need to have the volume quite loud.)

They fit in my ears very snugly and the sound is great. There’s just one trouble â€” they block out all external sounds. I can’t hear a thing when they are in.

Nothing.

This could pose some danger living in the big city.

I was getting bored of the old look so I decided to shake things up a bit. The banner took about 10 minutes (but it still needs work) … the css manipulation took longer than I will ever admit and I’m sure (positive, actually) it is full of errors. But there it is.

I think I need another hobby. Something soothing.
