12. I usually thank the streetcar driver when I get off.
13. I will compromise about where we go out for dinner.

16. I am happy to proofread things at work.
17. If I’m going to the shop, I’ll bring you back a cup of coffee.
18. If you bring me a cup of coffee with too much sugar I won’t breathe a word.
19. I’ll go to that alternative poetry reading taking place in a totally dark room in the basement of some bar in that rough-yet-arty area with you, since you came to the “boring” lecture with me.
20. I could be persuaded to look after your (very small pet) if you are away (for a very brief period).
21. I’ll have brunch at the crack of dawn (9:30 am) since I really enjoy spending time with you.

• I won’t, however, help you move or paint your house.

Good news! Today I was much less cranky! I bet my coworkers were pleased with the return of pleasant Christine.

Today I was thinking I have a rather uncommon quality. (I spend a lot of time thinking about myself and looking in the mirror). I’m not a procrastinator. Really, it’s true. If I have something to do that’s distasteful I just try to get out of the way. I do have plenty of flaws but that’s not one of them.

I’m going to try and think of some other things that please me about myself and I’ll write more later about how wonderful I think I am. (I think I’m rambling because I got some heat related nuttiness over the last week — this will pass).

Oh, I also am a very fast reader! Will the self-love never end?
