So, I wrote a restaurant review ― I don’t think this is a new career direction for me but it was fun. The review is headlined “Cheap, not cheerful eatery” and it’s in the UofT Bulletin ― a print publication ― so it’s not that easy to link to.

But for the curious, here’s the PDF, the review is on page 6.

The funny thing I didn’t mention in the article is that I ran into my friend L. at that restaurant a few months ago and she said she hated it. I think she was turned off by the atmosphere more than the food ― something I mention in the piece.

I haven’t been feeling well for a few days. I think I have an ear infection (which is making me a bit dizzy) and I’m trying to get rid of a cold. So I’ve been home sleeping and drinking fluids….but I can’t take another day of this. I am not good at this resting business at all.

Tomorrow I am going to work. I am a crazy person, I miss work. I bet I have 103 emails waiting for me ― and I can’t wait to prioritize and answer them. Maybe I’ll schedule a meeting as well and write a few things….I can’t wait!
