bookmark_borderAnother beautiful moment gone to hell…

Today when I was standing at an intersection waiting for the light to change, a school bus full of kids turned in front of me. A little guy with Down Syndrome waved at me and I waved back. We shared a smile.

In that beautiful moment, I forgot all about the pesky cyclists who race through all the stop signs — in what I imagine — is an attempt to knock over that “smug pedestrian.”

Of course, as soon as I got the the corner of Wilcocks and Huron, it all came rushing back as I had to wait for three scofflaws to race through the stop sign before I could cross.
