bookmark_borderReal Estate Problem

So I love where I live but I can’t help looking at what else is out there….what else meaning modernist dwellings in the central area of the city. And there’s a lot more to covet these days.

We almost bought one of Radio City’s modernist townhouses on Mutual Street — but we toured one of he last ones left and it was not quite right. (The one at the link is VERY right!)

But I recently found something that is just perfect — the fairly new Corktown Lofthouses on Gilead Place. Wow.

None appear to be for sale at the moment but that’s a good thing given my impulsive nature and also, frankly, because there is no real reason to move….but that has never stopped me before!

bookmark_borderWhy I enjoy Las Vegas

So many reasons, including:

  • Cool stores. No trip is complete without a visit to Retro Vegas. I collect vintage glassware, radios and ashtrays and I could spend all day there — plus they ship!
  • Food. Sure there’s a lot of great food on the Strip but no trip to Vegas is complete without a visit to Lindo Michoacan.
  • Fashion. Yeah, I visit the Fashion Show Mall (and the Miracle Mile) but I don’t leave without visiting Sheplers. I’ve got my eye on these babies. And these……and these….and these…

You’ll need to rent a car or take a taxi to my favourite places but if ypu like retro stuff, Mexican food and western boots it will be worth the effort. If you don’t, well, there are other things to do there, I suppose.

See you soon, Sin City!
