Arianna Huffington said recently that she was going to be fearless and announce her age proudly.
She’s 59 and she sounded rather delighted about it. On the other hand, Erma Bombeck once said:

As a graduate of the Zsa Zsa Gabor School of Creative Mathematics, I honestly do not know how old I am.

I feel more connected to Ms. Bombeck’s line of thinking. If you really think about it, she really had a “glass half-full” kind of attitude, didn’t she?

Actually, I am starting to feel better. Really I am. With each passing day I feel more and more grounded.

Yesterday I even typed the number in this very blog.

Besides two of my Friends are in the same boat: Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry both turn(ed) 40 in 2009.

C’mon, it’s almost been an entire month since your last posting!

Oh, I know it. Let’s see.

  1. I turned 40. Synopsis: I am still a little freaked out by it.
  2. I went on a cruise to celebrate. Synopsis: I got a bit seasick but the food was fantastic. It was a bit like a floating “Oshawa”.
  3. We finally moved into our new condo. Synopsis: There are 69 things on the in-suite deficiency list and I only recently just found proper pants to wear to work.

More on all these topics soon as I think I’ve got the wireless modem working properly at home.

Soon.

I miss you all as well.
